Become a Wildlife Rehabilitation
Volunteer
One of the best ways to help the Stone
Nature Center's wildlife rehabilitation
efforts is to become a volunteer yourself.

There are many ways to volunteer!

If you do not have the time or space to
become a home care wildlife rehabilitator,
you can help by training to run the wildlife
rescue hot line.    This can be done from
your home or car.   Running the hot line
may involve picking up animals from some
of the pick up locations or from people
unable to bring the animals in.  Special
training in handling and emergency care
will be given.

If you only have an hour or two to give, you
might wish to help at the nature center with
feeding or cleaning chores.
 Note: you must
be over 18 years of age to do this.

If you wish to become a wildlife
rehabilitator there is training available and
you must be able to meet all of the state
and federal requirements.  You must be
over 18 years of age
