Support Wildlife Rehabilitation
How You Can Help  Care for
Wildlife
No funds are provided from state or
federal  budgets for wildlife
rehabilitation.  The care and treatment
of the animals is funded solely by the
donations of people like you and from
the volunteers themselves.  Wildlife
rehabilitators in the Topeka area pay
for most of the costs out of their own
pockets.  Unfortunately, wildlife, like
many people, do not carry health
insurance.

You can make a difference by making a
donation to your local wildlife
rehabilitator to help  purchase food,
medication and supplies .  Donations of
towels, good quality dog and cat food,
cages,and other supplies are always
welcome.
To help wildlife rehabilitation at the
Stone Nature Center Wildlife
Rehabilitation facility, you can make a
donation to:

Stone Nature Center Wildlife Rehabilitation

Animals are released well away from
urban areas.
