Adventure Challenge Programs
The W. Clement Stone Nature Center  
operates the Hidden Pond Challenge
Course, an exciting outdoor education
program that emphasizes teamwork,
creative  group problem solving,
communication and cooperation.

The course, located on 50 acres of
mature woodland, has 25 different  low
group problem solving elements, and 12
different high teamwork challenges.  

Special programs are available for
corporate training groups, military
training, athletic teams, school groups,
scouts and youth at risk.

The experienced staff can customize the
experience to meet the goals of
individual groups.    Low element team
work and communication challenges are
selected and sequenced to meet group
goals and build on successes.

The challenge course high elements  
include a 45 ft. climbing tower, zip line,
hanging ladder, burma bridge and more.

These challenges help individuals
understand that they can surpass their own
expectations.  The high element course
builds confidence and a great sense of
achievement.

The Stone Nature Center's adventure
challenge program has an outstanding
record of safety and meets the standards
set by the Association of Challenge Course
Technology.

The Mobile Course

Can't come to the challenge course?

Want something a little less physical?

Let the challenges come  to you!  This           
low impact program is perfect for the              
gymnasium or workplace conference              
space.  

Teamwork and communication training           is
presented in the form of problem                
solving initiative games that are fun,               
thought provoking, and get your group           
working together.

      Program Costs

    The fee for the challenge course   
    is determined by the length of
    time each group spends on the
    course.  

    Maximum group size is 14   
    individuals.

    The course can accommodate
    several groups at a time, when
    staff are available.
